Our Hospice Chaplain is responsible for the provision of spiritual care services to patients and families/caregivers of Bakersfield Community Hospice, Inc., either directly or through coordination of care with other spiritual counselors. They Assure spiritual assessment of patients and families/caregivers in the hospice program and make sure appropriate services are rendered in a timely manner.

Our MSW Assesses the psychosocial status of patients related to the patient’s illness and environment and communicates findings to the registered nurse. They carry out social evaluations and plans interventions based on evaluation findings.
